You may remember seeing my animation of Vladimir Kush's scissors a couple of weeks ago. A friend watched this and emailed me to ask why I had stopped the animation with the scissor blades standing apart as he had expected them to rejoin at the end. I explained that the brief was to show 'social distancing' and the arrival of the virus during the balletic sequence caused the blades to move apart. After reading his email I thought that, once the pandemic was over, they would, indeed, rejoin. I pictured immediately how to animate the rejoin and, more importantly, exactly the music to use for the new sequence.
