Florida Everglades
I visited the Florida Everglades last week and came back with a ton of pictures...including this heron. Comments always welcome.

That is a lovely picture Marty! I love the delicate pink and orange at the throat.

Re: Florida Everglades
Marty, these are stunning pictures, as usual and worthy of praise.

I would suggest that you post them on Flickr or ephotozine, where there are thousands of like minded people. They will offer critique if you are looking for that and on EPZ people can vote for your image, so it offers a benchmark against other images. It's fun reading the comments too. Disappointing sometimes.

I say this because you seem to be looking for reaction and while many will adore the pics, for others it will have no interest because this site is dedicted to PS.

Don't deprive us though.

Nick

Re: Florida Everglades
That is a fantastic shot Marty - I never realised how transluscent the bird's 'gullet' is.

Re: Florida Everglades
I love that second one, it's like watching a live chess game in progress!

P.s. If you move to Flickr or anywhere else with these lovely pictures, I'll never forgive you!! It's a highlight of my day, popping on to see the pictures people put in here.
