Took this photo yesterday - a really horrible weed but I thought the seed head was quite lovely. Just added a hard light layer to bring the highlights out a bit more.  |

I like it Deborah. Great shot. Pity to call it a weed. One of my banners WIP is maybe related, if I every complete it. Is it a dandelion? You can eat the leaves (the lion teeth), and believe it of not I made some very nice wine from the fresh flowers (2 gallons of flower heads were required! (volume)) |

Many thanks Sophie, Anna and Trevor. I've now turned it into a very attractive brush - just where to use it! Trevor, no it isn't a dandelion it is a meadow salsify so will not be eating it! |
