Marlo the cat online
With a little help from my friends I have put the first pages of my photoshoply illustrated children's book online here:
http://www.marlothecat.co.uk/page2.htm

I will start sending out pitches to agents and publishers at the end of the month so wish me luck

Looks good. I've been writing one about the adventures of my pet cockapoo ( a cocker Poodle cross) Poppy. I need to try sending mine off as well

Good luck

Simon

Josephine - delightful.......but.......I hated that you stopped!!! Now I'll probably never know if Marlo developes a taste for mice. A cliffhanger!

By the way, I'm the story-teller for pre-schoolers - they will love this........Joey

Re: Marlo the cat online
I've done the original illustrations by hand then cleaned them up and added a black and white wash too them in photoshop. It's more along the lines of the Winnie the pooh/paddington bear stories, with each chapter being a separate adventure but al going as one big story. I've put a couple of sample chapters on by friends Cockapoo website, just so it gets it seen (free advertising)!!!

here's a link to one of them let me know what you think

The illustrations are great - some very nice mark making going on there - why did you choose a black and white wash rather than colour btw?

Great works Josephine and Simon.

You've really moved that on for the media Josephine. I like it. Guess you learnt a lot and can reuse going forward. Great content

Welcome back Simon. Just because you are not here does not mean you are are forgotten. Josephine raises interesting question, but love the illustrations either-way.

Maybe I can share with my granddaughter(s)
