CS6 extended upgrade - Price differences
Great price variations from different Adode sites. US $199.00 US Australia $309 Aus = $309.00 US New Zealand $755 NZ =$510.00 US This is plain stupid as I'm talking download. If I set up an other account, preferable in US, can I then download an upgrade and use my present serial number? At a stretch I could even do one in Australia, and pay there. I do object to having to pay 2.5 times more because of where I live. Any ideas are welcome. Hi Vibeke, Yes, same thing here in the UK, the extended upgrade is £389, about the same you pay in NZ. Unless you have a US address (for the bill to go to), you can't download the US one. Maybe the Australia one would work if you have someone over there that would pay for it. I agree the price difference is unfair. If the price was the same everywhere, ie the same as in the US, I wouldn't think twice about getting the upgrade. The same sort of thing, I wanted to buy something from the American Apple store as I couldn't find the item through the UK one; no go unless I set up a US account with address. Had to buy the item from Amazon at great cost instead. |

I think I will have to go for the non extended version. I do have lots of friends in US, so that's not a problem. Just wondering if I do it, if it will work with my serial number.
