Electrickery
Anyone who would think Steve is always to find behind his computer, must look at this little photograph.

Re: Electrickery
That's a bit strange Sjef. Thanks for sharing. Nothing against electric bikes, but they are very quiet, not like me when cycling like a steam train, ok exaggerate a bit .... a lot. More like a whimper as try to get the last bit of oxygen into lungs to keep brain a live while cycle up hill with tent etc. In China you really have to be careful, 360 vision when on foot! Dangerous and with the big battery pack providing a big impulse on impact, ouch!

Well, Great Britain has 0.4 bykes per person, in our land (Holland) there are 1.1 bykes per person: the highest number in the world (19.000.000 bycicles). Keep cycling Steve! Maybe Britain will catch up with The Netherlands some day, as it is rather hilly. But keep attention riding downhill!

Re: Electrickery
When you cycling in UK its really dangerous. There are cycle lanes that random start and finish, worse car drivers think its a good place to park forcing us into main traffic.
My sister has no car, cycles everywhere and with train. If you get close to her she will really shout!
Quite entertaining one morning as we cycled down the road in France. On a minor road, the truck cut me up and then my sister in front! Three cars on the other side had to go off-road when the truck wanted to go pass us. Why! I was still a bit asleep.
Then we get it! She shouts at truck. Truck stops. She swears nicely;in French. Driver gets out, she is a she, so the two of them shout at each other in French, I'm going err ......
Another time: I ended up in hospital in France, broken after been attacked on my bike. France looked after me really well, more: post-op I really enjoyed sharing room with senior French guy with all his family after he had new knee. I've never seen so much family! No English spoken just French, and if you know my little French quite a challenge

Re: Electrickery
Great find, even I could cope with a bike like that, but I bet I'd still fall off.

Re: Electrickery
Bit harsh? I don't intend to write a book. Just know how to write white papers, patents and write, chair, international standards documents.
