Very interesting, thanks. Maybe more so be cause we have single 2D image and have to infer 3D form? My take is its a glazed ceramic. The original creative form is sculptured from clay and then sliced into blocks e.g. with cheese-wire. After the clay has dried, it is glazed and then fired. Yes agree Vern, would be an interesting challenge, but not sure how Steve would/could frame it..... ![]() |

It's just a photograph which I took in the factory/museum ROYAL DELFT. http://www.royaldelft.com/index.asp?lang=2 A ceramic object in a frame, interesting because of all those little highlights, I thought. Perhaps it has been made the way Jota120 wrote. |
