Re: Black and white
Black and white looks so beautiful. Love the added clarity and contrast in the sky. Lightroom is an amazing tool for photography, I tend to use it more on my straight photography, now. Have you ever tried any of the Nik software like silver effects pro, recently downloaded it and must say I'm very impressed, and it integrates well with both photoshop and light room |

Re: Black and white
Yep - black and white images are beautiful - really an art. Yes, I have tryed/studied Nik Silver effects pro and Topaz BW effects. Both are great plugins... Silver effects pro offer great presets, Topaz BW - somehow - give a bit more control... But I have dropped both plugins. My idea was to use those plugins to try to have some good starting point, but I have completly dropped both: the results they offer simply can't be compared to personal/by hand retouching... ![]() _________________ "I'm curious about everything, even things that don't interest me." -- Alex Trebek |
