Cheetah
I thought I'd share this one with you following a recent play on words around How to Cheetah in Photoshop - ha ha. This shot was taken through glass at Whipsnade Zoo and is subject to an extensive crop. Pushed to the limits, I know, but I wanted to show the wonderful symmetry of the face. To give you some idea, the 200mm at full zoom would frame the entire animal and some background. Nick ![]() |

Re: Cheetah
Nick, that's just beautiful. The symmetry of its face is perfect. You have done the Cheetah proud in Photoshop ![]() _________________ Wicked Witch of the West: I'm melting! I'm melting! |

Hi Anna and Kate, your comments are much appreciated. Here is the original capture, so you can see how much the image was cropped. It's asking a lot of any sensor, I know. Nick ![]() |

Re: Cheetah
I think it's cropped well. You'd usually get a lot of noise in a crop that severe, but I can't see much in your finished photo. It's a great shot in both crops. |

Re: Cheetah
Wonderful image Nick. Well cropped. Pity it's not lying on grass or something more attractive as the whole beast is beautiful too. |
