Great image Deborah.

Reminds me of CD, but not the same I think. You have caught internal-refraction, dependent on angle of incidence and of the diameter of the web fibre I think. (Fibre Optics)

Thanks for sharing. Difficult to catch that.

Might I suggest you post to New Scientist "The Last Word" http://www.last-word.com , and see what other new scientists think. Its just general chat. Well worth a post to lastword@newscientist.com and see the response. I can do it if you want, but your work.
