Re: Wind, Wheat and Foxglove
Nice shot Trevor,
Funnily enough I was just looking up about Foxgloves as to which part was the most poisonous/fatal; all of it. I was out for a walk yesterday, in a country estate just outside Bristol, when I saw about 10 nursery school children (pre 5yr olds anyway) with three of their 'teachers'. All of the children had flourescent jackets on, not sure why in the middle of a country estate! But the best bit was that one of the children had a foxglove that they had obviously pulled up. I informed one of their 'teachers' that it was highly poisonous, who looked rather shocked.
I find it difficult to believe that some ridiculous health and Safety directive makes the poor kids wear those awful jackets, but doesn't seem fit to check if their 'teachers' have the basic common sense to know what plants are poisonous, or indeed that it is illegal to pick wild flowers.
Rant over, back to Photoshop!!

Re: Wind, Wheat and Foxglove
Thanks Deborah.
I agree with your observations Deborah!!
I was taught basics and about the countryside and city life. I've learnt more since
And what a pity many children don't seem to be able to cycle to school any more and have to go in 4x4s to add to the school run. As a child/youth I used to cycle to school, climb in the woods often by ourselves, no adults. My parents and associates just told me what to be careful of, ... many times My rant!

I'm still here!
