Full Moon and Clouds
One for Neil Armstrong and team. I was a young boy at the time, but followed progress of Apollo and watched them land on the moon live in the very early hours of morning my local time, no school next day, holidays, (B&W). Lucky me. ![]() |

Nice shot Trevor. Funny I have just been out photographing the moon this night. My images though a very poor compared to the one you have posted. _________________ "We don't need roads where we're going!" |

Wonderful pic Trevor. A fitting tribute to Neil Armstrong. I remember being at school watching the landing all those years ago ![]() _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

Re: Full Moon and Clouds
Thank you Anna and Vern. Anna & Vern, I'm out in the country often on a mission at the moment (no comment). While there, these skies and moon came through. Vern I often have problems with the moon especially no tripod, can't see surface, but was really interested in the clouds interacting together. Got 5 shots, only three worked. One gives a heart shape, which is interesting, but another day. A lot of ISO 2500, tv 500 and ISU working hard. Anna, again thanks, still stuck in my memory. My small tribute to them and Neil A. You were lucky with your time zone could see at school. Being a bit of boys with toys still fascinated with the Saturn rockets and Russian Soyuz. But a very shady pasted for who designed them and purpose, ... life. Loved Concorde and the Jota120, only one of which I could ride, and guess more ... I was thinking about ochre, colours in less bright areas. According to my understanding its because here the red stone derived soil, ochre, was reflecting the moon off the ground. The fields had only recently just been ploughed. Might remind you just a small bit of Oz Anna ![]() |
