Old and new photos of Pub !
This old pub was built in 1750 by joining two old cottages to make the Old Harp Inn , it is situated on the River Dee marshes at Little Neston on The Wirral , Cheshire and faces North Wales, in the early years it mainly served the miners from the old coal mine ( now long gone ! ). During the spring tides it used to flood the pub , but nowadays that is a very rare event, it is still a 'real pub', thank goodness !! I have a recent photo that I took a few weeks ago for comparison. |
