A lovely sunset

Not one of our most beautiful ones, but celebrating, we are out of lockdown. Apart from not being able to leave the country, we are back to normal. No Covid cases left in New Zealand, no new cases for 18 days. Let's hope it lasts. If I was into clubbing now would be a good time, but just being able to play tennis and have coffee together is fine with me.

Gorgeous colours Vibeke. I heard on the news yesterday or this morning that NZ is free of Covid. Well done. We are still lagging behind but getting there.

We are emerging from lockdown now. After about twelve weeks. I am unconvinced that Europe, and particularly the UK, are doing this very intelligently. People are behaving as if suddenly it's all over! I am afeared of a second wave.

Be that as it may, here is the view from our urban city centre terrace the day after release from lock down really commenced. Sadly I am not of the mindset that might consider this a good omen. Still it was sensational! One of those things that are quite emotional first hand but damn near impossible to capture.

A lovely inspiring photo David, I can understand that you are worried. Keep being careful, especially if people around you aren't.
