Monterey and the latest Photoshop finally installed!
After my last disastrous attempt to install Big Sur, which I had to roll back to Mojave again because my peripherals stopped working, finally the drivers for my peripherals, including the all important Wacom Intuos 4, have been properly upgraded for Big Sur and Monterey and I have been able to upgrade successfully to the latest Photoshop and the Monterey OS. Happy with both. Third party developers seem to have been very slow catching up with the last new OS's, perhaps because they are such a major departure from their predecessors. A word to anyone else out there who is Apple based and has yet to upgrade to the new APFS disc based upgrades - APFS is aimed specifically at SSD's and performs terribly with hard drives. So an upgrade to SSD is more or less necessary. But by God it works! _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Good to hear, you got there. I have finally got my iMac back and working. Just about got everything re-installed. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
