Colorize
I found a fun new program, Palette.fm It's free. Top image is done on Palette.fm The bottom with Photoshops Neural filter Basic default settings for both. ![]() _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Re: Colorize
Interesting. I think the Photoshop colours are more natural, and it doesn’t leave as much neutral grey as Palette. |

Re: Colorize
I tried that program Vibeke and it did a great job on some of my old black and whites. |

Re: Colorize
I like to leave my black and white photos black and white. It's part of their character. But in these two samples I prefer the skin tones on Palette but the prefer the other slightly more saturated colours of Photoshop. Despite my views on black and white I do wonder about using colorise to re-colour badly faded colour pictures. Maybe even make them monochrome first and start again. I think you have done some experiments with this Vibeke? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
