For Michael Sinclair and Loyd
This arrived from adobe in my mailbox this morning. It took me to a page of all sorts of examples of Adobe stock images and animations. The animations are identified by a little camera and timing in the bottom left. I thought of you two because, among the animations, there are a few examples of very nearly seamless looped animations. The second image of the sunset street is an example. It's not perfect but you have to look quite closely to spot the join. The one of the a glass on a conveyor belt being filled is quite clever because it uses a static frame to achieve the transition. The girl dancing is far from perfect but uses similar movement to good effect. The ball rolling that was used in the original mail image is utterly seamless but of course every element is designed that way. Here's the link. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: For Michael Sinclair and Loyd
I just discovered one of rotating coral beads a bit further down. I can't even begin to get my head around how one would animate that. Obviously it's pure 3D being rotated round a circular axis but .......... ?!? If any of you 3D animators look at this you wanna have a go? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
