OS Sequoia and Spotlight
Have any of you Mac users upgraded to Sequoia? If so, any problems with Spotlight? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

No problems at my end. What's going wrong for you? |

Re: OS Sequoia and Spotlight
I haven't upgraded yet. I like to wait a bit to see if problems emerge. There have been a very large number of posts both web wide and in the Mac forums of spotlight being broken. Not searching for files on local hard drives is one problem. Creating totally humongous index files and creating enormous CPU and drive loads doing it is another (even in some cases to the point of over heating). Even after decent pinches of salt there is enough for me to question the thickness of the ice before skating. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Ooops just re-read. Even after decent pinches of salt there is enough for me to question the thickness of the ice before skating." How's that for mixed metaphor? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Don’t you sprinkle salt on icy surfaces to aid traction? |

A good excuse for bad metaphor. Thanks! _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
