MAXON Autograph
As many of you will know I use MAXON’s Cinema 4D for my 3D work. I have never used After Effects for compositing and, instead, have been using a programme called Hit Film. The issue with Hit Film is that it was taken over by CANVA who, for whatever reason, killed it. It was not as powerful as After Effects but did everything I needed. It still works on my MAC but I cannot load it onto any new PC or MAC. In the past I have sung the praises of Hit Film to many of you so here is the new alternative. I was recently messaged by MAXON about their new piece of software called Autograph which appears to be an excellent alternative to Hit Film and I suspect will give After Effects a serious run for its money. One of the things that is excellent for all who hate node-based software (me) is that it is layer-based, so none of this node stuff. It seems to be an extremely powerful piece of software. Did I mention that it is totally FREE. I don’t know how MAXON can do this bit it is FREE to use.
