The Traditional HTCIP Christmas Party
Good morning all,

After the success of last year’s Christmas bash at The Archduke some people are keen to have another one. This year we may try to book a different restaurant as The Archduke can get a little noisy and crowded on a Friday evening.

The date that we are considering is Friday 9th December.

I have not yet made a booking but would like to get an idea of numbers so that I can give the restaurant an idea and get it booked asap.

If you would prefer to contact me by a personal message that will be ok as it will come through on my e mail address.

Gordon

Thanks Gordon,

I'm in as well, subject to late travel plans, but will try to nail it.

Brilliant Gordon! I'm in. I was just thinking about it.

Glad I spotted this because it looks as if it is to do with Steve Goes Live in September. So I hope others don't miss it.

Another consideration; it would be great if the restaurant had wi-fi so we can try again to Skype Vibeke and Anna (and anyone else you can think of).

Good point - I've changed it now.

Will do our best to find somewhere appropriately connected!

I do hope the 9th will work for everyone. I'm off to Brisbane on the 14th and would hate to miss it.

I'd really love to de-virtualize all of you and meet you face to face. I tried last year but had to move to another town just on that date.

Althought I really want to settle I don't have fortune on it and probably I'll be moving to Lima, Perú, where I've got a job opportunity as teacher at a design school.

So, If the timing is not the planned I'll be with you at London, but if all goes at time I'd really appreciate to have the chance of get in touch with you that day a few minutes by Skype or other messenger service.

bitter sweet hollydays. Last year I promised myself to be with you this time. I hate to fail to myself ouch!.

Anyway, have a great time

Would love to come but college doesn't break-up till the following Friday, so very much doubt I could make the trip to London the week before.

Hope everyone has a great time and I'm there in spirit if not in body.

Re: The Traditional HTCIP Christmas Party
Good morning everyone,

I have booked the same restaurant as last year. http://www.thearchduke.co.uk/ . The table is for, at the moment, 10 people and I have paid a deposit of Ł10.00 per head. It is booked for 7.15pm in the hope that this will fit in best with peoples' travel arrangements. I have requested that we do not have the same table as last year as it was a little cramped.

I shall be in the bar from roughly 6.00pm to meet you all.

The menu choice is, again, the normal evening menu or their Christmas menu which they will be sending me shortly and then I will figure out the best way to distribute it; probably by personal message, as that should be easiest. The Christmas menu needs to be booked 7 days in advance.

If anyone else would like to come along please let me know asap so that I can amend the booking.

We won't have wi-fi but we might be able to come up with something else.

Gordon

Re: The Traditional HTCIP Christmas Party
Could anyone who would like to have the Christmas menu please let me know their choices by the 30th November so that I can let the restaurant know in good time. Thank you.
