24 Hour Photoshop
November 14-15 sees the first-ever 24-hour Photoshop marathon, with free online tutorials running throughout the day and night. I'm delighted to say I'll be giving a couple of sessions, on both Actions and Displacement Maps. Check the schedules (times are yet to be finalised) here: http://24hourphotoshop.com/ |

Re: 24 Hour Photoshop
For those who are interested: schedules are now set, I'm doing two sessions - one on displacement maps, one on Actions - at 4.15am (ouch!) EST, which is a much more reasonable 9.15am here in the UK, and probably a very pleasant time in the antipodes. Hope some of you can make it - all sessions are free here: http://24hourphotoshop.com/ |

Re: 24 Hour Photoshop
9.15 is GMT. But no need to get confused... if you look at the schedule here, you'll see you can set it to correspond to your own time zone: http://24hourphotoshop.com/schedule.php Crikey - Australia has three time zones! How on earth do you manage with that? |

Re: 24 Hour Photoshop
Thank you Steve. Its pretty clear now. Looking forward to it. With the time zones..things become even more confusing during the summer months as some of the states and territories haven't adopted daylight savings time! _________________ Wicked Witch of the West:I'll get you, my pretty! Very informative! Particularly liked the actions one. I had not realised the advantages of them. Thank you Steve _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

Thanks, Anna. Actions are incredibly useful! Glad I was able to bring them to your attention at last! |

An excellent day, unfortunately I missed the first part of your first talk but caught up with the second, and many more - just when I think I am beginning to get to grips with photoshop I learn a whole lot more. A great idea |

Sadly I allmost never get any forum's mail, even after setting a 'Subscribe to this topic' check mark. So now that I read this topic, I'm to late. Pity! |

Re: 24 Hour Photoshop
There are several problems with the forum software, I know. It is not being developed any more. But I stick with it because it's so simple and elegant, and because unlike more well-known forum approaches (phpBB and so on) it doesn't attract a load of spam. |
