Re: Photoshop CC - top new features
Since CS6 I´m amazed at what can be accomplished with the 3D capabilities of Photoshop. Since most of my work involve drawing all kind of illustrations and photomontage I´m very excited about the future of this technology. Sadly I cannot find any good resources about not only how this works but also discussing best practices. I´ve seen one at Lynda.com but it is very generic. Steve, have you ever considered releasing some kind of a "HTCIP 3D" I mean this topic deserves a book (or lengthy tutorial) by itself. Keeping in mind the scope for photo manipulation and illustration concepts. Ah, yes I like the updates for 3D in Photoshop CC |

Funny you should mention that - a book on 3D Photoshop might just be in the pipeline... On another note my review of Photoshop CC as listed above is today (23 May) the top hit on Google when you search for "Photoshop CC". Hurrah! |

Very interesting video review of the top features Steve, though I doubt I will ever get to use the features as I will not be able to afford a monthly rental forever so I won't start. _________________ "We don't need roads where we're going!" |

I think that's a problem that will affect an awful lot of people. I'm really not sure Adobe has thought this through properly. |

Re: Photoshop CC - top new features
For the time being, I'm OK with this, not happy, but I can live with it, for now. But I few years down the line, I might not want to use PS as much, and won't care about updates, just like I have not update Office for years. At that point, I might have subscribed for years updated my computer once or twice and no longer have a working copy of CS6. Then after all I have paid out I'm left with nothing. There should be an opt out where you get to keep the version you are using. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
