Retouch Pro: Photoshop and Illustrator 1st April
My new show is on Photoshop and Illustrator - how you can work with images in Illustrator, and why you'd want to.

The show starts at 9pm UK time - and yes, this time (since the clocks have gone forward) it really is 9pm.

Excellent show as always. Really must use Illustrator more often.

Steve, do you have a link to your Photoshop/Illustrator past show?

I have been a Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign user for many years now.
I often times migrate between the applications depending upon the project and the specific task at hand.

Lots of methods and techniques to get from point A to point Z!!!!

Again: Problem with a copy from Illustrator to Photoshop. The round corners effect is lost.

That's because the circle effect in Illustrator is a live effect. You need to Expand it first before the circles become real objects.

I have just tried the effect again and it works now.

What did you mean by "Expand"? Even I did not use the transformation effect to make some space between the circles I had the circle effect in Photoshop copy now.

Some Illustrator effects are 'live', which means you can adjust them after you've created them. These effects look like regular paths, but they aren't; in order to turn them into standard, editable paths you need to use Object > Expand, after which the effect is no longer live.
