An invitation to all forum members
Provided Steve is okay with my idea, I propose a new section entitled FORUM GALLERY whereby anyone can re-post their entries for everyone to see which would include visitors. For example Sara's "bubbles" entry which contained hundreds of frames needs to be seen again, or Anna's Vimeo links. There is too much good work that has been created to be simply forgotten. |

You're thinking of the images lost in the last two years? Good idea. a great way to get them back into circulation. Would this need to be a whole new section, do you think, or just a post in the Reader's Gallery? |

Sorry, could not reply earlier, but I was away for the whole of Friday. Anyway given the circumstances, I think we should "showcase" what we have done in the last two years to anyone who might be visiting or interested in joining this forum. Therefore leaving the Reader's Gallery to continue to show completely new work. |

Thank you for the excellent suggestion Michael. Just a thought ............. The existing Readers Gallery has two subsections which accept multiple posts. Avatars and Banners are mini galleries, if you like, devoted to a particular aspect of Gallery postings. Perhaps this might be the route to go - a subsection? It still puts images within Readers Gallery, where visitors or members would expect to find them, but doesn't mix them up with current postings and new work. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
