The Wizard of Oz comes to town
After over 10 years on the Forum, Anna - best known to us as Tooquilos - is coming to London this May.

The proposal is for lunch on Friday 11th May at the usual venue - The George Inn, London Bridge.

I really hope all the regulars can make it - and it would be great if some of those who don't usually come to these things can get along too. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to quiz Anna on After Effects!

I would love to meet you and the gang in London Anna, but I am no longer as mobile as I was, so, sadly, I will not be able to make it.

Sorry to hear that Michael! Maybe a call via FaceTime/Skype?

Anna, I have never used FaceTime/Skype. How about moving the venue to Wellington, Shropshire? Only kidding.

Sorry to hear that Michael. I had been thinking that you might make this one.

Thank you Gordon. Just before Xmas I developed a bad case of Trochanteric Bursitis, which makes walking very painful. It is very slowly getting better (I hope).

I am really sorry not to be able to come to this but it really isn't possible on these dates as my dance card is already marked. I would have loved to meet Anna - I am such a fan. I hope you all have a great day.

Thank you josephine. I can now walk about 600 yards before I have to stop, so I am giving the London marathon a miss this year, and I can no longer use my left leg for bunji jumping.
I hope you all have a good time and may the weather stay fine for you.
Anna, enjoy your stay in England.

I would enjoy seeing a couple of photos from your meeting. I don't know Skype from FaceTime, someone take a camera!

Great! You and Gordon should have the pic request covered.

By the way - do you happen to be on that new direct flight?

Re: The Wizard of Oz comes to town
Note that the date has now changed to Wednesday 9th April, at my house. I'm emailing all those of you who can make it with details.

If anyone else decides they can come at the last minute drop me a line!
