Photoshop price increase
It's scary how much it's going up. I'm on the Photography plan and have been paying around $17.00 NZ for many years. It's going up to $29.00. I did read that if you changed to paying yearly before your plan renewed, it would stay on the old plan. My plan restarts in March, so I thought I'd better do it. Typically, I could no longer find that offer no matter how hard I tried, and it was impossible to talk to anyone. With the help of Gemini (who gave me more explicit instructions than ChatGPT), I managed to chat online with a real person. It took her a long time, but it was done. A bonus was that I now get 500 generative credits/month. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Hi Vibeke Hope you are well. I actually don’t have this problem for two reasons. The first is that I use CS6; I don’t need all those bells and whistles in the latest updates. I decided not to go to Adobe’s subscription rip off because I didn’t like having a gun to my head. CS6 does everything I need. Secondly Affinity Photo is excellent as is Designer and Publisher. It would be great to see your work on the forum again _________________ Have you ever noticed that all the instruments designed to detect intelligent life are pointing away from the Earth? |

Hi, I hope to get back some day, but at the moment I'm full time carer for my husband Peter. It's a miracle that he is still with us. His dementia is helping as he has no idea sick he really is, so most the time he is convinced he will recover and has promised to take me out to dinner as soon as we get back to normal. Luckily, he is comfortable and not in any pain and has kept his sense of humor. However, I don't think it will be long now. I still love Photoshop and all the new toys. Sorry to hear that Vibeke, it is difficult I know. My wife has somewhat advanced Parkinson's disease and being a caretaker can be very demanding in many ways. Hope to see you back some day. All The Best! |

Thank you Frank, I feel for you. Peter passed on Sunday morning, so we are busy organising everything here. I will miss him, but I'm not sad that he has gone. I don't think he would have held on as long as he did, if he had realised how long he had not been able to do much. You have my deepest sympathy Vibeke. I was my wife's full-time carer for six years until she died last May. It was stressful and exhausting work from which I still haven't fully recovered. |
