Is the rainbow a little detached from the lettering, though? Bringing it in front would unify the whole thing, I think. The only think I don't like here is the underline, which cramps the logo

Here's a different rainbow - had trouble bringing the rainbow in front as the text almost disappeared. Coloured the type to match, lost the underline????

Hi Steve,
I remembered that Superman's boots are actually red so here is the amended version. The motion blur did not work very well at this low resolution so I ditched it.

Re: Banner designs
And here is the original with black boots. I prefer the red ones myself. Take your pick.

Well, I created the background of the brick wall first. This was created from scratch. If you are interested on how I created that, I do have a tutorial on this. It is not a video tutorial like all of my other tutorials and it is the first tutorial that I posted since I joined the forum. Click for tutorial.

Once the brick wall was done, I just created a red solid color and add a Gradient and Satin Layer Styles. Then I took a snap shot of the layer palette and the Toolbox and put that on a layer and change the blend mode to Overlay. The text and the guy was added on another layer. Thats it.

Re: Banner designs
I love the way that Steve has used Nick's caterpillar banner for the same day as Google is celebrating "The Hungry Caterpillar" on its home page - our version immensely superior I feel !!!
